Hope was killed by death.
But those who doomed this dimension to this cold blackness made one mistake. Before they unleashed the doom of the world, they killed the person Hope loved the most. She died before hope was destroyed. So there is still hope in her heart.
She who once lost all hope... now gives hope back to the world.

So here we have Punisher2006's character Jessica.
Merliha and Anna killed her before they went into their hair brained scheme to get shiroi.
That mistake may very well save everyone, because she was already gone when shiroi killed Kibo, she never lost him or her sense of hope.
